ROC seeks volunteers for Social Work Assistance Team

Have some free time? Help someone change their life and achieve their goals by joining the Rural Outreach Centers’s Social Work Assistance Team (SWAT)! An informational meeting will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the ROC, 730 Olean Road, East Aurora.

The Rural Outreach Center is a nonprofit organization offering a wide variety of social services for those living in Western New York’s rural communities. For more information on SWAT, please call Kelly at 240-2220. And for more information on the ROC, please visit for frequent updates.

I am a retired CASAC-Alc/Substance Abuse Counselor from ECMC. I welcome the opportunity to volunteer for SWAT, assisting in any role or capacity needed.
