Individuals who sign up to receive e-communications from The Rural Outreach Center, Inc. voluntarily provide us with their name and email address.  We may use this information for specific, limited purposes.  You may always “opt-out” either now or at any point in the future, if you do not wish to receive our messages. 

Individuals may choose to provide The Rural Outreach Center, Inc. with their mobile numbers in order to facilitate direct communication regarding services.  You may always “out-out” either now or at any point in the future, if you do not wish to receive text messaging communication. Opt-out Instructions: If you wish to be removed from receiving future communications, you can opt-out by texting STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT-OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE.. 

How We Use Your Information:  

We may use the information that we collect about you for the following personalized services: to send emails to you, to answer your requests, etc. You may choose to opt out at any time, which will cease our communication with you.   

We may also use your information for analytic purposes to track visitors on our website.  This data is collected in aggregate form (so we do not know which visitor performed what action on the site) and is used so that we can improve the site’s function to best serve our visitors’ needs. 

The Rural Outreach Center, Inc. does not share, sell, or rent your email address to anyone outside of the organization. 

Consent: Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We require such third parties to use the personal information we transfer to them only for the purpose for which it was transferred and not to retain it for longer than is required for fulfilling the said purpose.

Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions relate to the text messaging services provided by Rural Outreach Center (The) to its clients (Participants) by its employees (Providers).

The Rural Outreach Center (ROC) provides text messaging services as an optional service to Participants. It is neither a requirement to receive services nor a right of Participants. Participants receive information at the time of receiving their provider’s texting number that the text messaging service is not to be used as an emergency communication service, and they agree to abide by this as a condition to continue using the service. Abuse of the text messaging service by either party will result in a termination of the text messaging capability between those parties.

Consumers may expect to receive the following types of messages:

Client communications regarding appointment reminders, schedule changes, outreach events, follow-ups, and general updates about services and resources. Text messaging is also used to answer client questions and provide information about available community programs.

Clients may choose to send text messages to their provider(s). Clients are informed that their provider only responds within business hours.

Message frequency will vary. Message and data rates may apply. The ROC is not responsible for any charges incurred by any party using the text messaging service.
