ROC to receive technical assistance

Good news! We have been selected to receive technical assistance to help expand economic opportunities in our rural areas. We are among two other New York State organizations that were awarded these grants.

As part of the Rural Community Assistance Partnership, we have been assigned to Community Roots (www.community-roots.com), a Vermont-based consulting organization. Led by Milissa Levy, principal and owner, she will be working with us as we formulate ideas and work out a plan.

So what does this mean for us? We now have the advantage of working with a consultant that has relevant experience working with rural community organizations and approaches to economic development! We’ll keep you posted as this develops.
