Job Title: Director of Programs

Hours: Part-time (.75 FTE), some evening hours and flexibility in hours

Salary:Based on level of experience

Location: East Aurora/southern Western New York

Primary Responsibility: Develop and deliver programming to ROC Participants, consistent with mission.

Qualifications: College degree, with experience in program delivery. A passion for non-profit, mission-driven work a necessity. Strong administrative capacity, including management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Sensitivity to the needs and concerns of the rural poor and issues of poverty. Ability to work independently and cooperatively with executive director, staff, board members, Rural Outreach Center (ROC) Participants and consultants. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Supervisor: Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director

Duties: Oversee development, implementation and monitoring of programs to help ROC Participants of all ages meet their goals. Ascertain resource needs and recruit volunteers and partners to meet those needs.Develop and manage program budgets and personnel. Provide necessary reports in a timely manner.Perform other duties as assigned. Please see website for a complete listing of programs.
