As the Rural Health Integration Coordinator, Julie applies her years of experience in the field of special education to teach, support, and elevate Participants to better overall health and well-being. Julie connects individuals and families to essential resources in the community while helping to reduce the social factors that negatively impact health. As The ROC’s Health Monitoring Program is implemented Julie will conduct health screenings, provide individualized information to encourage a healthy lifestyle, as well as refer Participants to appropriate local opportunities and educational programs. Julie enthusiastically participates in many community outreach events in addition to promoting community awareness for all the programs The ROC has to offer.
