Positive Payload Program: The ROC receives grant supporting New Paths Household Goods Redistribution Center.

The Rural Outreach Center (ROC) received a $250 donation from the Positive Payload Program in support of the New Paths Household Goods Redistribution Center.

The Positive Payload Program, by AmericanTrucks, gives back to organizations who use pickup trucks to perform different activities to support their charitable causes.  New Paths, a part of The ROC, is a volunteer-run program that provides quality, good-condition, used furniture and appliances to community members in need.  These goods are purchased for a nominal donation or volunteer hours.   For many years, Jim Oubre – lead volunteer at New Paths – has used his truck to pick up donations of furniture and appliances from generous community members.  This donation will help The ROC and New Paths continue providing important services to our rural neighbors.

New Paths Household Goods Redistribution Center is open to the public on Saturdays from 9AM-10AM or by appointment.  Please call 716-777-4007 with questions regarding donations or inventory.
