Rural Outreach Center seeks donations for holiday program
Each holiday season, the Rural Outreach Center (ROC) in East Aurora collaborates with generous community partners to provide Christmas presents and gift certificates to families engaged with ROC services.
For many families, the holidays can be an extra financial burden rather than a time to celebrate. The ROC’s Christmas program is a great way to assist these families so that they too can have a holiday filled with joy. Support from the community also helps ensure families are able to stay on track with their household budget.
Please consider supporting the work of the ROC by adopting a family to buy presents for this holiday season, or by donating gift cards from local businesses. To become involved, please call the ROC at 240-2220.
The Rural Outreach Center’s mission is to assist, empower and elevate the impoverished rural populations in southern Erie County and the surrounding areas. The staff serves with compassion, empathy and respect for all people. For children, the organization’s goal is to break the cycle of multi-generational poverty by providing counseling, play therapy, and educational opportunities and programs.
