Maria Knickerbocker
Maria Knickerbocker, LCSW- R RPT-S is the Director of Social Work at The Rural Outreach Center in East Aurora, NY. Maria has worked with children, adults and families for over 20 years in Washington DC, Hattiesburg, MS, and Buffalo, NY. Maria was instrumental in developing the play therapy program at The ROC. Maria also completed Level 1 training for Theraplay and completed EMDRIA-approved training in EMDR. She is passionate about working with the team at The ROC, working with students, and seeing families reach their goals and elevate out of poverty.
