The ROC is not a 24-hour agency and does not monitor its messages outside of business hours. When you are in a more stable situation, you are welcome to contact The ROC for ongoing support, care coordination, and counseling.
For concerns about housing or shelter, please contact 2-1-1 directly.
↳ Therapy for Myself
The ROC provides counseling services for adults living in rural poverty. Our clinicians are highly trained and offer numerous interventions that may be beneficial for individuals dealing with loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other concerns.
Call The ROC at 716-240-2220 ext. 101 to schedule an intake appointment for counseling. You will be asked to complete two intake appointments within a two-week period.
The ROC will refer you to an appropriate agency for substance use counseling or support. We hold twice monthly substance use peer support groups and are able to assist with linking you to an agency that can best serve your treatment needs.
We hope that you will engage with our other programs, such as budgeting, financial literacy, employment readiness, and more. Some of our supportive programs may only be available to Participants who complete a budget and engage with our services regularly. However, we welcome anyone in need to receive counseling services.
↳ Therapy for My Child
The ROC provides counseling services for children living in rural poverty. Our clinicians are highly trained and offer numerous interventions that may be beneficial for individuals dealing with past abuse, loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other concerns.
Call The ROC at 716-240-2220 ext. 101 to schedule an intake appointment for counseling. You will be asked to complete two intake appointments within a two-week period. These intakes will be completed with the custodial parent or guardian. You will be asked to bring custody or other legal paperwork to your first appointment, if applicable.
Children are also able to attend other programming and experiences, such as mentoring and tutoring. Please let us know at your intake if you are interested in learning more.

↳ Accessing Benefits Assistance (HEAP, SNAP, & More)
The ROC’s care coordinator is experienced in helping you obtain and maximize assistance with health insurance, medications, food, housing, and social security. You do not have to do this alone. If you find yourself in need of help with applications, understanding requirements, or figuring out eligibility, please call The ROC at 716-240-2220.
