Rural Outreach Center plans drive-through community event on May 2

The Rural Outreach Center (ROC), a nonprofit organization serving the rural areas of southern Western New York, will hold a drive-through community event from 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at their facility at 730 Olean Road in East Aurora. The Good for the Neighborhood pop-up event will feature free giveaways and a chance to win some great prizes!

Drive-through participants will receive free Independent Health Foundation Wellness Bags, and well as donated food and produce bags courtesy of the event sponsors. Participants can also register to win a 2020 Census Gas Card or a Health Survey Tops Card right from their car.

“The Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills, Independent Health Foundation and FeedMore WNY joined Pegula Sports and Entertainment in donations to provide direct community aid to Western New York residents in need during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Frank Cerny, executive director of the ROC. “We are extremely grateful to them, to the entire community and our dedicated volunteers for their continued support during these difficult times.”
